Helsey Farm Holiday Cottages are a lovely place to relax and get away from it all and is home to the famous Peaky Blinder horses from the first TV series. Situated on the edge of the owners’ working farm and livery yard. Please ask Debbie or Bryan if you wish to view their personal horses, including the film stars of Peaky Blinders, Downton Abbey, Victoria and Lloyds Bank adverts to name a few.
Helsey Farm is nestled between the Lincolnshire Wolds and the Lincolnshire coastline in the quiet hamlet of Helsey and is just 3 miles from lovely sandy beaches. Guests can bring their dog on holiday, fish, walk and cycle across Helsey Farm’s land and there is an Interpretation Centre to showcase the heritage and farming culture of this unique part of the coastal strip.
This is the ideal retreat to enjoy the countryside with walks joining up with the footpaths to local villages, or even all the way to the coast. You can also enjoy the night life in busy Skegness, Mablethorpe or other towns nearby.
Nearby Hogsthorpe, just over a mile away, has a great pub and a selection of shops. For a day at the seaside, head into Chapel St Leonards, 3 miles, with amusements, beach with Seascape Observatory and café where early birds can book a table to enjoy breakfast while watching the sun rise over the sea. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is 8 miles away and offers something for all the family to enjoy with lovely sandy beaches, amusements, fun fair, aquarium, cinema and Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. Along the coast is Anderby Creek, Sandilands and Sutton-on-Sea. You can walk or cycle from Sandilands all the way to Mablethorpe along the promenade with the beach and sea alongside you.
Inland are the market towns of Alford and Louth, the entrance to the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Travel to East Kirkby to see Just Jane, the WWII Lancaster Bomber as it performs its taxi runs at the East Kirkby Aviation Centre. Visit Cadwell Park for the motor racing or Skegness Stadium for the banger racing, both sure to offer a fun filled day of excitement.
There are 3 other holiday cottages and the farm house on the farm available to rent which can accommodate up to 28 guests.
Children must be supervised at all times especially around the lake. Dogs must be kept on leads and please pick up after them. Please stay away from farm machinery and the farm yard.

Excellent holiday cottage suitable for disabled Lovely location near Skegness. Warm and welcoming hosts, so kind and helpful. We stayed in The Dairy, one disabled and 2 carers, it's very well equipped with good quality furnishings. Would definitely recommend.
Guests staying at Helsey Farm Cottages must comply with the all government guidelines. The roadmap released by the UK Government to ease restrictions in England cautiously states that:

In line with government guidance, Helsey Farm Cottages is supporting Test and Trace and if contacted by the NHS Test and Trace programme in England will provide the name and contact details of the holiday booker if requested.
The health and safety of both our guests and staff remains of paramount importance; at Helsey Farm holiday cottages, we have introduced an enhanced cleaning schedule. Prior to arrival, the cottage will be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly by the housekeepers who will be supervised by a member of the site management team.
We kindly request that guests vacate the cottage by 10am on the day of departure.
To ensure the safety of guests staying in the holiday cottage, we have removed scatter cushions, DVD’s, magazines, books, games and tourist leaflets.
A Welcome Hamper of essential items will continue to be provided in the cottage on arrival and will include a copy of the guidebook of the site. A range of cleaning products will be left in the holiday cottage which will include: hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray. Government guidance states that people should take particular care to maintain excellent hygiene – washing hands and surfaces – especially when using shared facilities like bathrooms wherever possible.
